WING WALK STRESS!

How hard can it be to organise a Wing Walk?...Very!

Organising a Wing Walk isn’t as easy as you’d think!!

Firstly, trying to locate one in the North West was almost impossible, but then the Hospice of the Good Shepherd located one in Manchester, which was great - just about an hour from our house in Chester.

What we hadn’t bargained for was the Wing Walk company going out of business, I won’t name them, but let’s just say the Wing Walk Buzz had faded when an email came through telling me they’d gone into liquidation that day!!

So, it was all in danger of falling through, but then a lot of calls and emails later, and together with Gemma at the Hospice, we managed to secure a new venue for the wing walk - three hours away mind - but over the (hopefully) glorious skies of the Cotswolds.

Now, there is a twist, as Michelle herself completed a Wing Walk back in 2011 at the same venue, after husband Jeff had bought her a (probably unwanted) gift of a Wing Walking experience - something she really questioned why her husband would buy such a gift, but one that she followed through and created lots of memories with.

Now, Alfie & Harry have only ever witnessed their mum doing this on video, but will now get the chance to see their dad and their cousin doing just that in August - as long as another email advising of liquidation doesn’t follow!!
