Mrs b’S HOSPICE XMAS
Michelle was admitted to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd in November 2024, and sadly just 13 days later passed away, leaving husband Jeff and their two sons Alfie & Harry.
Michelle had been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour during Christmas 2023 and bravely underwent surgery to try and remove as much of the tumour as possible. This was followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool.
Sadly, the tumour started to win the battle in the Autumn of 2024 and in November, her condition deteriorated to a point where Michelle was given ‘days to weeks’ to live and so Jeff had to make a very difficult decision on behalf of the family, to request end of life care with the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
